IFAW case study
Green Printing Case Study.
Here’s an example of a green printing case study from Splash Printing.
The International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) is a worldwide charity working to improve animal welfare, prevent animal cruelty and abuse, protect wildlife and provide animal rescue around the world.
From stopping the elephant ivory trade, to ending the Canadian seal hunt and saving the whales from extinction, IFAW works to create solutions that benefit both animals and people. The fund’s report on the continued illegal use of ivory was printed by Splash on a special paper called Ellie Poo.
Ellie Poo paper is manufactured from 75% post consumer waste and 25% elephant dung. The dung is collected by the elephant handlers in Sri Lanka and provides an extra source of income for the locals to care for the elephants.Like to know more about green printing options, environmentally-friendly inks and papers?
